The Swedish owned place is also called the “Rumpan Bar” which is some kind of Swedish play with words: It means “the naked ass” . Swedish humor does my head in, and no, it is not a gay bar, if you thought that’s what it implies, naughty you!
The current owner has created a very warm and inviting atmosphere and has built up a large and loyal local customer base. Although the bar is an English run bar, its location and ambience has encouraged a large Scandinavian and Spanish clientele in addition to the English one.
